Antiques Appraisal Day at the Kittery Community Center, August 8

The Kittery Historical and Naval Society is sponsoring an Antiques Appraisal Day to be held on Saturday August 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kittery Community Center, 120 Rogers Road in Kittery Maine.

Do you ever wonder if that vase that Aunt Lydia left you is worth keeping? Do you think you may have a treasure in the attic that would pay for early retirement (or at least a fancy dinner at your favorite restaurant)? Do you want to know if you should insure that old painting?

Andrew Davis, owner of Casco Bay Auctions, and a colleague will be at the Kittery Community Center to give verbal appraisals of your items.

Item appraisals are $10 each, or $25 for three, and there is a six-item limit.

Proceeds will be used to upgrade and refurbish Kittery Museum exhibition spaces and create exciting new exhibits. Grab your treasures and come on down!
